Hello again all,


No entirely sure what to report on today, though perfectly OK as it went. Dropped by the school this morning again as the Phonics volunteers are dwindling slightly so helped out today as well – all the kids doing very well again, all very pleasant stuff. Back for a brief tidy-up and paper-work sort, then picked up the Non together with Sophie for a playdate and did moosey stories, playdough, dancing, colouring in, biscuit munching, sofa bouncing, all that stuff until nearly 6 o’clock. The Mr came home while I was giving the Non a much-needed bath, and then dinner and bed for the Non… bed for me shortly, I think. Slightly glazed here as I’ve just been posting a tiny little writer’s competition thing (part of an attempt to start getting back into the swing of it) – had quite forgotten how tedious it is sticking to a word count…. And 300! I mean, some people can barely write their name with 300. Deary me. Ten minutes writing a piece, an hour chopping it up. I’m off to play the Sydney Shark game and thence to bed.
