Humph. I defy anyone to claim that’s not a spitter of the Pie. Ok so hair colour change but same as for the original. So pucker up and button down. Many thanks for input as ever – and I was shocked to realise I hadn’t even said thanks for all the photos… they really are fantastic, and it’s also wonderful to hear that you’re having such a good time with your new camera (and such great results) – you were wanting one for ages, it’s well deserved!
I had an incredibly decadent day today… well, afternoon. Took quite a while getting stuff to and from the library, what with one thing and another. Lists (forgotten at home and partially remembered), looking for non-existent books where they ought to be but weren’t, choosing stuff… amazing how time flies. In the afternoon I went out to… wait for it…. a CAFFE with Anna and one of her friends… we stayed there for about 3 hours, nattering until the cobbles dropped out of their mortar with the noise. It’s like the finger coming out of the Dutch dyke when a few Mums get together with no interruptions, it’s all just one torrential gush. Horrific but vastly entertaining and therapeutic. Ah well, got back at nearly 5 and the Mr looked tired but the Littles looked absolutely insanely happy – she’d been entertained to within an inch of her life. She was so excited she couldn’t even stop bouncing up and down on the spot for the first five minutes I was home…. Of course, the exuberance wore off quite quickly once Mummy was to hand but I think she really had a good time. Must give the poor Mr some time-off tomorrow, somehow.
And well that’s about as much as I have to say I think… Oh, hope the Pobble is having a very fine Saturday birthday as we speak and may the gadgets be all to the highest specifications – salutations and congratulations!
Lots of love to all of you, V xxxx
