Hello all,
Have a feeling I’ve forgotten to pass on some vital information but not at all sure what it was. Story of my life. Well, no huge news here – the Mr reported an uneventful day at work, Littles seemed happy at school but didn’t come back with any startling news, and I just plodded along – scintillating stuff as ever.

Thursdays seem to be the day for Lillian to come over and play, so she did – her mum stayed over for a little while and a cup of tea and then we carried on after she left. The kids did their homework, did loads of drawing, did a bit of dancing to some jazz and then some Mozart, then a bit of limbo dancing, some Moose dancing, some more drawing and finally couldn’t have a full playdate without a bit of practice at their touch-typing. So there they sat, one on the laptop and one on the desktop, typing away and once again it was difficult to prise them away from the computers.

Walked Lillian back home at 5:30 but AHA – I was ORGANISED today, had the dinner ready and waiting anyway – had prepped my lentil lasagne already and it was cooking quietly in the background, so early night for the Littles despite playtime. Unfortunately, despite being pretty well behaved the whole time (including not too bad dinner-time – the lentils seemed to be reasonably well liked) – once she got Daddy up to the privacy of the bed-time routine she seems to have become suddenly abominably naughty – not doing anything asked of her, kicking and biting, goodness knows what. Alas I’m afraid she knows that she can push the envelope much further back on Daddy before she gets any retaliation… so she pushes. Poor Daddy. Well needless to say Mummy eventually found out so things came to an end but it was a shame because she’d been good up till then. We’ve got a bit of a problem with this at the moment – no doubt it’ll have moved on after another couple of weeks but at the moment it’s Tormenting Daddy.
