Apologies for being so absent – we’re fine, it’s just that nothing exciting is happening. I think I’m a bit weary of typing stuff in the evening to be honest, after spending the whole day generally hunched over the computer hammering out some piece to throw into the never-ending void of would-be authorship.
Er – Lillian came to play yesterday, they had an amazingly educational time of it, have to say – seemed entirely happy to divide their time between doing their homework, drawing, reading books, and practicing their touch-typing (no, I kid you not, couldn’t get them away from this, almost had to pull Lillian away from the screen at 5:30 to take her back).
I’ll see how the Littles is this evening after school. I think she’s getting a little tired again – need to get a few early nights in I think, it all adds up I guess. Anyway, just wanted to drop in and make sure no-one thought we were dead-in-a-ditch (talking of which, anyone heard from the Pie? Not seen or heard anything from the Pie for a long time, hope nothing more horrid has happened since her chopping off the tip of her finger. Every time I try to put a comment on her pics it all disappears into the void. I wanted to tell her how impressed I was with Leo’s crystal story, he really has a lot of imagination, and Nea looks so adorable it must be easy to forgive her for being a handful of mischief, but typing it more than once makes it all sound stale and boring. Hope you have an enjoyable week-end and that we might see you all on skype. Lots and lots of love
