For ‘Grandparents’ day’ at school (shame the W&W missed it by such a short margin), all the kids dressed up as their favourite book characters. Well I’m not sure who the Non’s favourite book character is but in a last-minute executive decision I decided Puss in Boots would do just fine, as we had cat ears and plenty of face paint. She also got a black tail sewn onto her skirt. The whole day was a mass of dress-up, processions, plays and dances, absolute pandemonium. You should have seen how pale the teachers were at the end of it, I think they must have had a communal heap of Panadol in the staff room and just helped themselves.
Here's Puss in Boots at home - guess if she stayed still for half a second straight to get the paint on?
Other ruggamuffins and Puss with The Green Sheep (a.k.a. Ruby)
Puss reads to Daddy, and displays inappropriate writing posture (well she's a cat, what do you expect).
Group photo - I think these include the Mad Hatter, a sheep, two mermaids and a cat. Plus later on at the display. Grin two feet wide.
Pandemonium.
We keep having problems with the hot water supply, but I think she took water conservation a bit far this morning...
