Well, I’m off to go and collect the Littles’s toys from the lockup! She’s finally been dry for six days, and one can but hope and pray that this little phase has closed its doors on us. Hurrah!
Actually I’d better get a move on, been sitting here messing about with book reviews, blogs and website settings and haven’t even made the beds yet, and she might be wanting to bring kids home in the afternoon as a celebration. Need to bake some ‘stickies’ too. Mind you, nice to be back on the hospitable track. Now perhaps we can also get back to doing some work – I’ve simply left it while the other stuff settled down.
Had a bit of a snotty cold this week so haven’t been able to continue with my Sonnet recordings… quality’s bad enough without added Snot. All this juggly-pokery-messing-about takes up time but it seems that nowadays one has to be all-singing and all-dancing to get anywhere. I’ve been setting up my own website and learning about how to make basic links and pages – starting at the very bottom, of course, not a clue. However it appears to be correctly indexed and comes up on a Google search, so now I just have to finish it up before it’s actually needed or referred to by any writing-connected people. If anyone feels like a bit of proofing/commenting/make-it-better suggesting, always grateful. You can find it (strangely enough) at www.vesnamcmaster.com .
Littles has yet another birthday party to go to this weekend – they never end. And one on the 29th, I think. Meanwhile she’s confusing everybody in her class by insisting (on a daily basis) that today is her birthday. She’s well into them at the moment.
So good to hear that Mexico was a success (despite some considerable luggage and vomit setbacks), the pics are absolutely superb. Lovely to talk to you the other day, Pie, much appreciate the call. Lots of love to you all xxx
