Isn’t it awful? I know, I’m so sorry – no, not D.I.D…. just lazy. The days are passing by horribly quickly.


Not sure what we’ve been doing. Well, as of just NOW, been ferreting around for some insurance for a CAR for me for horray! We’ve decided to get the family a second Camry. Well, they are so very comfy and for 6K including three year’s warranty you ain’t going to get much better value. Picking it up tomorrow, right after our medical for the new visa. Quite a bit of running around tomorrow morning, what with one thing and another.

In the meantime… hm. Littles was very pleased to have Ruby round – Ruby is her attached-at-the-hip mate at school but so far hasn’t come to play – they had a great time but it was short so wondering when she’d like to come again. Oh well, we’ve got Sophie and Lillian tomorrow. That should cheer things up.

Not sure what else. There must have been other things but I’m sorry, I’ve been lazy and now I can’t remember a thing. I seem to recall that the weekend was busy with going round houses and looking at cars, and the weekdays have zoomed past. The end of term is coming up now, and next week it’s the last one with the school Disco (much anticipated) on Wednesday and the last day of term Friday. This Saturday there’s going to be Indiah’s birthday party and next Sunday there’s Lucy’s birthday party. I’m even going to a bleedin’ Christian women-only croquet session for goodness sake, whatever next. Oh, and there’s a Mum’s night-out on Friday as well – so it’s all go from now on. The Mr is off to Sydney for a conference from the 5th July – unfortunately just as the holidays start but we’ve been spending some time seeing where we can go while we’re alone and the Littles is far less down-on-the-mouth than she was when I reminded her about his absence today… especially when I suggested we should ask some of her friends to come along too. Of course, they still remain to be persuaded but I suspect a lot of parents will be needing to do stuff with their kids. I’ll tempt them over with the lure of a playdate right after – suit the Non down to the ground.
