Dullish day today, to be honest. We were all rather woozly in the morning, but they'd threatened us with power-cuts for 'routine maintenance' from (get this) 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today... (!!!) so we decided it was for our own good to get out of the house - and we had chores to do, so we went out and did them. But we weren't quite with it and did them a bit half-arsed, and then got hungry and found an unstatisfactory lunch outside, came back and found a scrawled sign out on the roadside saying 'power outage cancelled' (thanks mate) and really just slumped into a coma at home. The Littles has a runny nose of the fresh-and-freeflowing variety, the Mr is for once OK but I have a stumping headache this morning and frankly I'm just feeling lethargic and dull. We did go to the beach in the afternoon but it really is a bit late in the year, and we left if pretty late... sun was almost setting by the time we got there and although the two of them went in and I was in my wetsuit, I didn't get in myself. All too much of an effort. We had a conmforting Pasta Sauce for diiner - a sure sign that things are dreary. Well, they're OK but you know. No bounce to the day somehow. I think we'd all better get to bed soon and have a good sleep to kick things up a bit tomorrow. Lots of love to you all, V xxxx
