Hello mi lovlies!
Wow it's been a while. Hope you've all been doing fantastically. Many thanks to the Pie for the BEAUTIFUL pics - much appreciated! The Littles scrolled through them today for me so that we could comment and look together while I did her hair after her bath - I think she particularly loved the ones of the waterslides and the trains. Empathy, you know. Keenly appreciates both the pleasure of sliding down waterslides and of driving trains.
It's been a fairly back-on-track Thursday after quite a blip. School, work, and I've actually been digging out my writing stuff and posting a few bits and bobs on writer's forums and so on to try and get back into the idea of actually doing something. Gosh, Littles was on FINE form this morning. First thing (well I don't quite remember what the first thing was as I was pretty much asleep) - jumps into our bed and demands 'I slept well, how are you?' (grunt - very well thank you, nice of you to ask). Turns to Ian and says (he was off work yesterday with a terrible sore throat - couldn't sleep most of the night) 'Are you feeling ill, or well?' (much better thank you). 'How is your bellybutton feeling?' (??) 'Is it feeling well, or ill, like when Mummy and Daddy go Cough Cough Cough into the toilet?' (no doubt referring to our by-now-legendary Boxing-Day Pukathon). (snicker, splutter.... much better, thank you). 'You know when you went ... ' (demonstration). (we're OK thank you). (Brightly) 'I had a SMALL accident but I went to the loo all by myself, and then went back to bed! (well done - but you should have let us know - don't go back to a bed with an accident in it) 'Oh, OK' (very indulgently). (Stands up to full height, stark naked of course, and starts bouncing on the bed with all her might. When asked to sit down, does so, and aiming for Ian's armpit blows a series of raspberries loud and varied enough to constitute and Armpit Symphony. We don't stay in bed for long after that).
Yesterday the Littles had a good day back at school again, and we asked Lillian over for an after-school play in an impromptu manner - they had a FANTASTIC time. I think they quite happily spent the first hour or so at the table doing maths and homework together, then went onto cutting and sticking and crafts and drawing, then some dancing and playing with toys.... Lillian was utterly dismayed when she had to be dragged off home at 5:30 - it was already getting dark and was definitely time for dinner preparations but they'd just had such a great time. Anyway, we promised more of the same shortly - I'm sure there will be.
I've dumped a whole load of pics onto the site without any explanation - will try and fill in the details as I get the opportunity but really it's just beach, fun, and beach - that's the short version. Lots of fun.
Anyway, lots of love to you all, hope everyone's well,
V xxxx

but you'll have to go to the end of the album for the latest pics!

LOVELY to see you're back- was rather busy myself so didn't really contribute in any way- that seems to have been such a LOVELy holiday! James looks almost exactly the same (except not upside down with vom out of his mouth and pissing out of windows)- and the little one is sooo cute! (OK I'm not saying anything about the Non here because that just goes without saying- or maybe not, she's gorgeous- loooove the wetsuit- says leo, kakkoiii!) I just saw the small pic first and thought that oh wow, James grabbed himself a nice piece of ass there, just the type I thought he would marry, real slim American girl- when I peered into the screen and realized it was you. WOW, looking slick Vens- and your jeans aren't baggy! Look at that flat tummy! How you do all that and are nearly 32, I don't know. I have SO many lines on my face since I came to LA- must be the sun, with the strongest dark glasses I still squint around. Not to mention Ian, who is one of the lucky sods who seems to get more good-looking with every passing year (or month, rather)- probably be and absolute pheromone- riser at around 50. WOW. Seems like such a nice place, and nice calm bay to play at as well- not to mention that outdoor kitchen style house set-up! How swish, are there a lot of bugs around or? Love the Non and her comments in the morning, so sorry to hear Ian is out of it again- he's really been having a rough time this month, poor thing- hope he gets out of it really really soon... So saying Leo is at home today after ages- bit of a temp, nothing bad.
ReplyDeleteIt's really good actually since I started really- that is nea started (for the second time) real potty training yesterday- deemed that it was about right, now that she can actually hold it for about an hour- before it was so frequent there was just no way. She actually made the big loo as well yesterday so I7m keeping my thumbs crossed, anyway- lovely all together, and maybe pass you a call later on if you7re not too busy if you are, just don't answer around 9-10 in the morning.
Love all round, S and gang
PS Leo just informed me the bedroom smelt of poo. Oh well, I guess nothing's THAT easy.
