10th - 11th March (Wednesday - Thursday)

Bastard blog!!! Well I’m buggered if I’m going to use it any more to type in – I have no idea what exactly I pressed but it just disposed of everything I’d written. This despite saving it numerous times in drafts. Sometimes you really feel as if things are just not going your way. In fact, so pissed off that can't be bothered. Nothing particularly worth while going on about anyway - Non's being good, I've jsut wasted a whole morning (very pleasantly) because one of the mums at school asked whether I wanted to go down to Merewether beach for a walk, so we did, and had a nice chat. It'll at least relieve you of having to read through things today, the entries here are tool long by a good shot in my opinion. I tried to take so pictures for the passport of the Non today but simply cann't do it without the shadows getting in the way, not even by taking a sheet outside and trying to photograph her outside. SO we'll just have to go back and try again in a studio or a booth. Simply MUST get this passport sorted so we can get the permanent visa sorted - there are so many financial incentives you wouldn't believe. Anyway, hope you're all keeping well, Lots of love, V xxxx

  1. HEEEY ! I know- I just looked at the blog when it was posted with "Wed-THur" with 0 letters on and guessed what must have happened to poor you, I thought of putting in " well that was informative!" just out of fun but decided that (and losing stuff like that is worthy of destroying computers and frantically and maniacally pulling on the cords and yelling DIE YOU SHITHEAD ) it wouldn't be taken as a joke. Poor thing, very sorry. In any case, you around tomorrow? And my good time is your morning the next day- so r you around on Sat morning likeish? Don't worry about actually STAYING there for it- but I guess Saturday is rather busy. SO GLAD about your stuff, I know how happy I was awhen I got mine- although it's a lot of work at first, at least you get everything and start attacking it, I know the bed situation as well- I couldn't wait to let the air out of those two queen inflatable beds and got up early in the morning the stuff was coming, after having slept on them for a month and a half and said " EVERYONE UP! I'M GETTING THE AIR OUT MOOOOOVE!" - tucked them away in the garage with ever so much relish. So happy for you, it takes an AGE coming, the worst thing is that you get the note that it's in the country only some 2 weeks after you arrive, all happy that it must arrive every so soon, then they say OH but wait a moment, 500 authorizations to go through yet, customs and chikamanuckamanoots- it'll be there around Christmas next year. Anyway, Leo did REALLY well at his open house Big Turnip play yesterday- I swear that child, he said his heart was thumping, but is tough under pressure- all the others were stammering along when he suddenly appeared, gave an outstanding performance and was heartily applauded on his own. All the others had their lines tucked under their arm and he just poured them out with an air of Mel Gibson and actually gave a (completely unneeded but cute) grand bow at the end of his speech and after being specially applauded- I thought it before but I think it again, if that kid's got something, not so much in language itself but he's got a sense of drama and the love of acting, which is even better combined with the excellent zero stage fright. Anyway. Post some pics I guess but haven't got any really since it was rather squished and I was rather taking videos. OK, have to serve the gnocchi cheese and meat and carrots now, HEY I saw your site- marvelous! I took a miserly pic of my obentos today for you to laugh at what kak I'm going on with here every day- oh they're desperate. I7d love to try out the skewers!
