Right, sorry, tired as buggery tonight, not at all sure what's going to come out. Start off with all these great intentions during the day that I'll get paperwork galore done tonight, but it never seems to come to fruition. Once dinner hits, it's all over.
As proposed, we hared off this morning to buy white goods for the new place. Set off at 9 a.m., came back at 10:30 a.m. with fridge-freezer, washer, and dryer. Would have got fans as well but unfortunately everyone's out of them. We really do now have most of the shopping list done, we've still got to get a mattress for the Littles (we know where we'll get it, just need to come without the Littles herself so we can get the mattress in the car), and a barbecue. That's it, mainly. Oh, and a hoover, but again, we know which one we'll get. And the same for the kitchen table and chairs. So we're all set (virtually). Today I spent inbetween-whiles putting on endless washes getting through all the new bedding we've purchased plus the borrowed stuff that's coming off our beds, plus all the towels - still a bit more to do but at least it's on it's way, now we can just pick up our own stuff and leave the cleaned rented stuff when we leave. A terribly windy day again at the beach, Littles could barely make any headway in the waves in the pool, had a quick dip and then we went back to finish off her painting of Australian Animals - quite a nice little canvass kit we got, she's really done it quite nicely. Finished now.
Many thanks for the lovely book from the Camel and Pobble and Scott, much appreciated! Her face quite lit up - we don't tend to buy books any more, just borrow them from the library, so it's a rare treat. Thanks :)
